COMMUNITY OUTREACH

HHCI takes pride in developing partnerships as it strives to carry out its mission. It has partnered closely with the Belizean Ministry of Health, and continues to take direction from them and to assist them in many ways. Additionally, HHCI is involved with several community outreach projects to support healthcare education and delivery of services in the Toledo District. These include regularly scheduled health education programs in villages and schools, conducting village health needs assessments, the provision of transportation and the coordination of health care services with other partnering facilities and programs such as the Belize Family Life Association and CARE-Belize.
